Watching the Rio Olympics and cheering on the home team while painting this handsome Canadian made creating this piece all the more special. Introducing Noble, a true blue Canadian horse.
Typically all black, this breed is commonly nicknamed "the little iron horse" and "the horse of steel" for it's natural abilities to thrive in poor conditions and under hard work. True to his breeding, Noble is one smart cookie and a great all-around horse, excelling in both jumping and dressage. While Noble may be clever and strong like his ancestors, he certainly doesn't have to endure any hardships in life. Well cared for and very spoiled, "Noble" is loved a great deal by Liz and Courtney.
Loaded with extras like a full dressage bridle with fancy brow band and a perfectly matched bonnet with all the trimmings, I thoroughly enjoyed painting every detail of this proud Canadian.
