Each year, I like to give back to the community in the form of charitable donations. This Fall, I'm happy to once again lend support to the Therapeutic Riding Association of Ottawa-Carleton (TROtt), who's members work so tirelessly to help adults and children in the Ottawa area who suffer from physical, developmental and learning disabilities. Through the patient horses and ponies and dedicated staff members and volunteers, participants in the program show improvements in physical health and self-confidence.
The annual fundraiser to benefit TROtt, held at Rideau Carleton Raceway on October 23, will include live horse racing, a buffet dinner and a silent auction with all proceeds going directly to the organization.
I am proud to announce my painting entitled Callina (pictured above) will be among this year’s silent auction donations.
